On June 30th, Angola’s Aude Industrial Park held its first Tree Planting Festival. This event, initiated by the park’s management committee, attracted enthusiastic participation from dozens of Chinese and Angolan colleagues from various enterprises within the park. On the day of the event, everyone gathered in front of the park’s office building to jointly contribute to the creation of a green park.

The event started at 7:40 in the morning. Chairman Yang Jijiang delivered a brief and enthusiastic speech, emphasizing the significance of the tree planting activity and encouraging everyone to actively participate in building a beautiful home together.

After Chairman Yang Jijiang announced the start of the tree planting activity, everyone began the organized planting process as planned. Digging holes for the seedlings, straightening them, filling in soil, tamping it down, building a berm around the base, and watering—the steps were carried out in an orderly manner. Participants planted different types of trees, referred to as “Corporate Trees,” “Department Trees,” “Family Trees,” “Couple Trees,” and “Team Trees.” Everyone worked together harmoniously to plant each small sapling.

Planting greenery nurtures the vitality for development, making the park even more vibrant. Through this labor, participants experienced the joy of teamwork, enhancing the company’s cohesion and also strengthening their awareness of environmental protection.

The best plan for a year is to grow crops; for a decade, it is to grow trees. What we plant are not just seedlings, but also hopes; what we water is not just soil, but also the dreams of the park.
