On March 31, 2023, Guangdong Jushi Chemical Co., Ltd. officially signed an agreement with China Aode Industrial Park Co., Ltd. The plan is to establish Jushi Chemical (Angola) Co., Ltd. within the China Aode Industrial Park, with an intended investment of 10 million US dollars. The main products will be SMS and 3S non-woven fabric membranes for sanitary use, eco-friendly bags, non-woven fabrics, and furniture non-woven fabrics. Upon completion, it is expected to produce 15,000 tons of non-woven fabrics and 10,000 tons of membrane materials annually, meeting the demands for non-woven fabrics, breathable membranes, and outer packaging materials in the southwestern African market. The project plans to start establishment in April 2023, have equipment installed by August 2023, and commence operations in October 2023.
After the signing ceremony, Mr. Dai (position) from Guangdong Jushi Chemical Co., Ltd. and General Manager Wen De Liu of China Aode Industrial Park Co., Ltd. had an in-depth discussion about the current phenomena in the Angolan market and its prospects. Both parties agreed that this signing is beneficial for leveraging each other’s strengths, sharing resources, complementing advantages, and achieving mutual benefits and win-win outcomes. This collaboration will facilitate a virtuous cycle of resource development, significantly extend the industrial chain, promote the growth of related industries, and boost the local economy and employment.

The company mainly produces modified materials, flame retardants, automotive profiles, fully biodegradable plastics, sanitary non-woven fabrics, and membrane materials.
China Aode Industrial Park Co., Ltd. is located in Dande City, Bengo Province, Angola, covering an area of 400 hectares. Established in 2018, it mainly engages in industrial park planning and development, infrastructure construction, physical investment, operation management, and consulting services. While meeting the needs of the Angolan market, the products from the industrial park also reach out to surrounding countries such as the Democratic Republic of Congo, Congo-Brazzaville, Gabon, Namibia, Zambia, South Africa, etc.
In July 2022, the Angolan government established the Dande Free Trade Zone, with Aode Industrial Park becoming the first enterprise to move into the Dande Free Trade Zone, occupying 47% of the initial total developed area.
The first phase of investment has been completed, and currently operating factories include a ceramics factory, carton factory, frit factory, paper mill, and Dongfeng Logistics. The second and third phase projects are under construction and preparation.
