Christmas Charity Event II

Recently, Aode Industrial Park in Angola organized a public welfare visit under the theme “Public Welfare Never Stops, We Are Always on the Road.” The team drove for over two hours to reach a remote and impoverished village in Bengo Province, where they spent Christmas with 350 local children. The Aode public welfare team, Vice Governor José Pedro of Bengo Province, Mayor Lourenço, District Chief Isabel, and others attended this event.

Upon arrival, the team was immediately greeted by the warmth and enthusiasm of the local villagers and children. The children sang and danced, filling the village with laughter and joy. In the presence of the Vice Governor, the Aode public welfare team handed over donated supplies to the local district government and distributed gifts to the children who were eagerly waiting. After the children’s performances, Guo Xueqiang, head of the Aode public welfare team, along with Vice Governor José Pedro and other leaders, actively participated in interactive games with the children, creating a warm and harmonious atmosphere on site. The event concluded with a shared lunch between the team, local villagers, and the children, further strengthening the bonds of friendship and support.

It is reported that this is the second time Aode Industrial Park has visited the local area to celebrate Christmas with the children. During this event, the park donated supplies worth 5.5 million Kwanza to the local community, including food, tables and chairs, stationery, and toys. The total value of donations to this region has exceeded 12 million Kwanza. In addition to these contributions, Aode Industrial Park is currently constructing a primary school in the area to improve the local teaching environment.

After the event, the head of Aode Industrial Park accepted an interview with the local media. He stated that Aode Industrial Park has been in Angola for four years, during which time the company has adhered to the philosophy of “rooting and serving locally.” While operating legally and increasing local employment and national tax contributions, the company has also actively focused on and engaged in public welfare activities. Over the past four years, the park has donated generators to remote villages, provided food and drinking water to disaster-stricken areas, donated building materials to local schools and churches, contributed epidemic prevention supplies during the pandemic, supported impoverished populations, and regularly visited employees’ families to distribute supplies. The annual investment in social public welfare exceeds 45 million Kwanza.

The year 2023 marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Angola. Aode Industrial Park has always upheld the corporate culture spirit of “based in Africa, contributing to society,” striving to play its role effectively as a Chinese enterprise. The park hopes to make greater contributions to the friendship between China and Angola. It also looks forward to mutual support and common development with the Angolan government and communities, working hand in hand to create a brighter future.
