The frit project of China Ceramics International Co., Ltd. produces 26,000 tons annually of mid-to-high-end ceramic frits, antique glazes, full-polish glazes, and quartz powder, starting operation in August 2020. Ceramic frits are one of the main ingredients for glazes and a key factor in determining glaze quality. Ceramic frits are obtained by mixing glazing materials in specific proportions, melting and refining them at high temperatures in a furnace, and then rapidly cooling the molten glass through water quenching or water-cooled metal rollers to produce granular or flaky composite materials.
