To give back to the local community and deepen the friendship between China and Angola, the staff of Aode Industrial Park in Angola conducted a themed charity visit titled “Public Welfare Never Stops, We Are Always on the Road” at a special education school in Cassito City, Bengo Province, ahead of Christmas. They brought warm Christmas gifts to the children there.
At the event site, the park staff and children decorated the Christmas venue together, wore Santa hats, distributed snacks and toys, and donated living supplies worth 5 million Kwanza to the school, including cooking oil, rice, beans, cornmeal, beverages, pasta, toys, as well as fruits and Christmas decorations. Despite the language differences, the warm smiles and practical actions brought everyone closer together, further deepening the friendship between China and Angola.
The Governor of Bengo Province, Maria Antónia Nelumba, attended the event and delivered a speech. She emphasized that children are the foundation of a nation’s development, and only through the healthy growth of children can a country develop better. She noted that Christmas is one of the most important festivals in Angola every year and expressed deep gratitude for the multiple public welfare donations made by Aode Industrial Park in Angola throughout the year. These charitable activities have improved the quality of life for local residents and children, and also promoted harmonious and friendly relations between China and Angola. Finally, she hoped to achieve common development and win-win cooperation with the industrial park, jointly promoting the development of Bengo Province.
After the event, the park staff expressed that they hope to bring tangible assistance to local residents through their regularly held public welfare activities, allowing them to feel the care of society. They also hope that through their efforts, they can inspire more enterprises to join in public welfare activities.
This sentiment underscores the commitment of Aode Industrial Park to not only contribute directly to the well-being of the local community but also to set an example for other companies, encouraging wider participation in charitable endeavors.
