The Governor of Bengo Province cut the ribbon for the inauguration of Huiteng Industry in the Ode Industrial Park

On May 8, 2025, Ms. Maria Nelumba, the Governor of Bengo Province in Angola, along with a provincial government delegation, the Director of the Industry Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, representatives from the Dande Free Trade Zone, and others visited the industrial park to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the start of operations for Angolan Huiteng Industrial Co., Ltd., an enterprise entering the park.

At the Huiteng Industrial Co., Ltd. facility, Governor Maria Nelumba and her delegation toured the production workshops, gaining a detailed understanding of the company’s operational situation and employment plans. Mr. Lou, the head of Huiteng Industrial Co., Ltd., introduced that the company was established in April 2024, located within the China Ode Industrial Park, and benefits from the national-level Dande Free Trade Zone tax incentives. The company primarily engages in the production and sales of automotive parts (brake discs and brake drums), equipped with multiple advanced production lines including core processing equipment.

The current monthly capacity reaches between 80,000 to 100,000 brake discs. The second phase is expected to commence operations in June 2026, which will then create approximately 400 job opportunities and increase the production capacity to between 450,000 to 480,000 brake discs per month.

Mr. Lou expressed that Huiteng Industrial has introduced advanced Chinese casting techniques and CNC technology to Angola, which not only facilitates the advancement of Sino-Angolan corporate cooperation towards high-end manufacturing but also effectively enhances local industrial support capabilities. The company’s products, produced through standardized production systems and precision manufacturing processes, are set to enter the international market with the “Made in Angola” label prominently featured on their product tags.

Governor Maria Nelumba highlighted that Huiteng Industrial has not only brought modern production techniques and advanced technological equipment to the local area, playing a proactive role in promoting the transformation and optimization of Angola’s industrial sector, but more importantly, its market strategy, which is oriented towards regional markets, targets not only the domestic Angolan market but also involves exporting products to other African countries such as the Democratic Republic of Congo, Nigeria, South Africa, as well as markets in Europe and America. This fills a gap in the regional market for high-quality automotive parts.

This initiative not only helps enhance the recognition and competitiveness of “Made in Angola” in the African market but also sets an example for local enterprises aiming to secure a greater voice in the process of regional economic integration.
